J-Hook Configurations
Rick has discussed the benefits of J-Hooks before on CADDY TV, but it also is important to understand the variety of configurations that J-Hooks can be arranged in. In this episode, Rick shares how you can configure J-Hooks using a High-Performance Tree Mount (HPTM) and spring steel “batwing” clip.
Rick mentions that the J-Hook tree is a very popular solution in high-traffic areas. However, if you need to customize an arrangement, the HPTM is ideal for attaching several J-Hooks to one other. The HPTM allows installers to prefabricate or field assemble J-Hook configurations.
The spring steel clip is useful when attaching a J-Hook to drop rod from a structure. It quickly attaches to the rod and is held in place with the compression of the spring steel clip.
